Inspired by my parents (both artists) I began sewing clothing in high school. I was later introduced to quilting by a family friend and was instantly hooked!
My photo memory quilts are inspired by my father who has taken great care to capture so many favorite family moments on film and who is an avid photographer when he is not practicing law. To me, quilting is the perfect answer to satisfying my desire for creativity and my innate tendency toward organization and attention to detail. Planning and piecing a quilt requires mathematical skills, a vision, and a lot of patience.
In addition to my quilting business, I have spent the past three decades working as a registered dietitian - primarily in long-term care. I attended Florida State University (Go 'Noles!) where I earned a BS degree in Nutrition and later an MS degree in Management.

freshman at Florida State University, an avid horseback rider, and
plays volleyball. Seems there is always another "gotta have" t-shirt
