Cost & Quilt Sizes

Quilt cost is determined on a "quilt-by-quilt" basis with a 50% deposit required to begin production.

Once I receive your down payment, I begin planning your quilt layout based on your preferences. I edit designs and colors until you are satisfied. Then production begins!

Here you will find templates that will approximate various size quilts. If making a t-shirt quilt, see grids for approx. number of shirts required for each size.

You will want to consider the side hang length you desire and whether you want to tuck a pillow under the quilt.

The blocks in these samples are 15” blocks.

I generally cut blocks as follows:

• Children’s t-shirts: 08" - 12” blocks
• Women’s t-shirts: 10" - 12” blocks
• Men’s t-shirts: 12" - 16” blocks

I can also include blocks as small as 4" when the logo is small.

This following information is provided to help you determine the approximate cost of your quilt.

If you are on a budget, please let me know and I will design something within your means.

Should your quilt be a slightly different size than those noted in the chart, then your price will be adjusted accordingly.

Remember, this quilt is an investment in family memories and will likely become a family heirloom for years to come.

Cost Formula:
Width (inches) X Length (inches) / 1296 = total square yardage (Cost may vary based on quilt pattern, materials, quilting style).

Adding Photos to your quilt:
$15 per 8.5" x 11" photo transfer sheet (one 8" x 10", one 5" x 7", or two 4" x 4" photos)
$18 per 11" x 17 " photo transfer sheet (*one 10" x 16", four 5" x 7", six 4" x 4" photos)
$21 per 13" x 19" photo transfer sheet (*one 12" x 18", four 5" x 7", eight 4" x 4" photos)

* Larger photo transfer sheets suitable for landscape photos.

Pillows:
$85.00 - Approximately 16-18" square. Includes one 8.5" x 11" photo transfer sheet and pillow insert.

Wall Hanging # 1:
$85 - Approximately 22-24" square. Includes one 8.5" x 11" photo transfer sheet.

Wall Hanging #2:
$95 - Includes one 11" x 17" photo transfer sheet. Larger dimensions.

Wall Hanging #3:
$105 - Includes one 13" x 19" photo transfer sheet. Larger dimensions.
